Hi, I’m Israel Fasunlade. I’m a designer, developer, and the founder of STRIDE. I got into tech after secondary school in 2017 and have been passionate about it ever since.
Creative Pulse is an idea I had to build a platform where I could share practical knowledge on design, technology, and business—to find out what we can learn to help us move from where we are to where we hope to be.
I haven’t been a writer; in fact, this article is the first blog post I’ve ever written.
Like many ideas, I’ve had but never really executed, the concept of Creative Pulse has been with me for over three years now. I bought this domain on the 9th of November, 2023, set it up, and then… that was it. Until two weeks ago, when I finally decided to do something about it.
I hope this reminds you of something. You’ve got to start it, man.
I’m not publishing this today because I feel ready. I think I was more ready two years ago than I am now. But I’m starting anyway. I wrote this post on the 18th of June while taking a walk at night as I usually do.
I’m not quite settled on what the schedule will look like, but I’m committing to publishing content at least once a week. Creative Pulse will help you improve your approach to design, branding, and positioning, and find leverage points for your business using technology.
“What needs to stay the same?” This question, famously attributed to Jim Collins, a renowned author and business consultant, and later echoed by Jeff Bezos of Amazon, emphasizes identifying core values and principles that should remain constant even as technology and companies evolve.
A lot has changed in the way we work and do business, especially with AI going mainstream, but some things are never going to change. We’ll often discuss the importance of identifying and maintaining constants in business strategy, such as building trust with your customers, creativity, and value.
As a creative, it’ll help you improve at your craft, and as a business owner, it will help you find some leverage points for your brand/positioning and build trust with your customers.
I’ve tried to make the platform lightweight, focused, and responsive on any device for easy access. However, it’s not as interactive as I aim for it to be yet. When you’re on the site, I might not know you’re there, but I hope to make it interactive soon enough.
